Go-kart

A racing go-kart with an exposed tubular steel frame, rear-mounted engine, and low-profile tires. The first go-kart was built in 1956 by Art Ingels, a former race car builder at Kurtis Kraft, using a surplus West Bend two-stroke engine mounted on a simple steel tube chassis.
