Fiat 500

The original Fiat 500 was built from 1957 to 1975 and put Italy on wheels — over 4 million were made, turning it into a symbol of Italian postwar economic recovery. The rear-mounted two-cylinder engine produced just 13 horsepower, but the car weighed only 500 kg. Cinquecento means five hundred in Italian.
