Citroën 2CV

The Citroën 2CV was produced from 1948 to 1990, with over 3.8 million units built. Originally designed to motorize French farmers, the brief required it to carry a basket of eggs across a plowed field without breaking one. Its air-cooled flat-twin engine, soft long-travel suspension, and corrugated hood panels became some of the most recognizable features in automotive history.
