Halloween black cat

Whether a black cat brings good or bad luck depends entirely on where you are standing. In Britain and Ireland one crossing your path is a good omen, while across much of continental Europe and North America the same cat means the opposite. The Bombay breed was created in the United States in the 1950s by crossing Burmese and American Shorthairs, specifically to produce a cat that looked like a miniature black panther.
