Saturn V rocket

Saturn V was the rocket that carried Apollo astronauts to the Moon between 1968 and 1972. Standing 111 meters tall and weighing 2,970 tonnes when fully fueled, it remained the most powerful operational rocket for over fifty years. The five F-1 engines on the first stage burned through about two million liters of kerosene and liquid oxygen in just 168 seconds before separating high above the Atlantic.
