Astronaut on the moon

Only 12 people have walked on the moon, all between 1969 and 1972 during NASA's Apollo program. Neil Armstrong's first steps lasted two and a half hours, and the astronauts left behind footprints that will remain visible for millions of years because there is no wind on the moon.
