Ladybug
A ladybug rests on a leaf with its round spotted shell clearly visible. Ladybugs are beetles, not bugs — the name is misleading. A single ladybug can eat up to 5,000 aphids in its lifetime, making them one of the most effective natural pest controllers in gardens worldwide. Their bright red-and-black coloring warns predators that they taste terrible — when threatened, they release a foul-smelling yellow fluid from their leg joints. There are over 5,000 species of ladybug, and not all are red. Printable ladybug coloring page with bold outlines.
