Daisy
The common daisy (Bellis perennis) closes its petals at night and reopens them at dawn — the name comes from Old English dæges ēage, meaning day's eye. Each flower head is actually made of two types of flowers: the white ray florets around the edge and tiny yellow disc florets in the center. Daisies grow on every continent except Antarctica. In medieval Europe, knights wore daisy chains as a sign that they had accepted a lady's affection. Printable coloring page of a single daisy with radiating petals and a round center.
