Minecraft Skeleton

The Skeleton has been in Minecraft since August 2009, when it was added in the Classic Survival Test, and is one of the four original hostile mobs alongside the Zombie, Creeper, and Spider. It spawns in dark places and shoots arrows from a bow, strafing sideways while attacking. Skeletons burn in direct sunlight unless they are wearing a helmet, standing in water, or sheltering under leaves. They can pick up dropped armor and weapons, and a Skeleton riding a Spider — known as a Spider Jockey — is one of the rarer mob combinations in the game.
