Wombat
Wombats are stocky burrowing marsupials native to southeastern Australia and Tasmania. Adults weigh 20 to 35 kilograms and can run short bursts at 40 kilometers per hour despite their chunky build. Their backwards-facing pouch keeps soil out while the mother digs. Wombats are also the only animals known to produce cube-shaped droppings — the unusual shape comes from differences in elasticity along the wombat's intestines. Burrows can be up to 20 meters long and more than 2 meters underground. Printable coloring page of a wombat standing on grass.
