Triceratops
Triceratops was one of the last non-avian dinosaurs, living alongside Tyrannosaurus rex around 68 to 66 million years ago in what is now western North America. Its skull could reach over 2 meters long — one of the largest of any land animal ever. The three horns and bony frill were likely used for defense against predators and for display during mating. Over 50 Triceratops skulls have been found, making it one of the best-documented dinosaurs. Some fossils show healed bite marks from T. rex teeth, suggesting these two giants clashed.
