Pug

The pug is one of the oldest dog breeds in the world, originating in China around 2,000 years ago, where the breed was kept by Chinese emperors. Dutch traders brought pugs to Europe in the 1500s and the breed became a favorite of royal families across the continent. Pugs are brachycephalic, meaning their flat faces and short muzzles give them their distinctive wrinkled forehead and big round eyes. A group of pugs is called a grumble.
