Puffin coloring page
The Atlantic puffin nests in burrows on coastal cliffs across the North Atlantic, from Iceland and Norway to Newfoundland. Its large, triangular beak turns bright orange during the breeding season, then sheds its colorful outer layer and becomes smaller and duller in winter. Puffins can carry 10 or more small fish crosswise in their beak at once, thanks to backward-facing spines on the roof of their mouth. Iceland hosts the world's largest puffin colony — roughly 60% of the entire Atlantic puffin population breeds there. The puffin's chunky body and striped beak make it a fun coloring page subject with clear sections to fill in.
