Hammerhead shark coloring page
Hammerhead sharks belong to the family Sphyrnidae, with the T-shaped head — called a cephalofoil — packed with electrical sensors that detect prey buried in sand. The wide-set eyes give a hammerhead almost 360-degree vertical vision. Great hammerheads grow over 6 metres long and often hunt stingrays. Many species school by day in groups of hundreds.
